I am licensed in Virginia as a Professional Counselor (LPC). I have certifications to work with substance abuse (CSAC) as well as sexually reactive or abused children and adults with sexual issues (CSOTP). I am a registered play therapist and supervisor (RPT-S).
My approach is based on my believe that life is a journey not a destination. Along the way there may be things that happen that make the journey too challenging to go alone. I create a safe and supportive environment for you to explore what has happened and how are you best equipped to regain the joy in your life.
I have been in the mental health field for over 2 decades and have experience with working with children, adults and couples. Sessions are individualized to meet the needs of each person.
